SMUGGLING DUDS GO BACK TO BASICS!

Back to Basics Smuggling Duds, how do you like them apples?! The Smuggling

Duds collaboration with Back to Basics is probably the most exciting news in the history of our company to date. Recognised by Guinness as the longest running weekly club night and having an infamous reputation globally for throwing the best parties in town, Back to Basics is a giant in club land. Taking all this into account we had to produce some stash pants fitting to the legendary club nights’ reputation. We believe with our slick design and their unforgettable logo we have done just that. Have a look here and let us know what you think!

"Basics have never been afraid of stealing from the culture that spawned them. I remember walking into some over priced drapers shop in Leeds one pissy Saturday afternoon in late ’91 and chancing upon a flyer that to this day still takes the biscuit for down right cavalier cheek. The flyer was advertising a new night but had gone to the effort of stealing and customising a piece of iconography that had defined the whole era of punk for millions like me. The infamous Jamie Reid artwork for The Sex Pistols “God Save The Queen” had been touched up & fingered onto an advert for the dawn of this much needed club. The agenda was set from the off. That flyer more or less defined the spirit & policy behind the whole Back to Basics ethos." - David Gill (Herb Garden Magazine)
