SMUGGLING DUDS UFC 205 GAMBLING GUIDE!

Well here we are again, our second Smuggling Duds UFC Gambling Guide and this time it just so happens to be one of the best UFC cards we've ever had. The UFC have really gone to town with this event and are out to show the people of New York, what they've been missing out on.

Remember, if you don't want to risk going with the method, just play it safe and stick to the prediction. We scored two huge underdog picks last time out and predicted 7 out of ten fights overall for UFC 204 - so lets keep it going!

Thanks guys, and don't forget to spend some of your winnings on some Smuggling Duds.

UFC 205

(Predictions are all subject to fight card changing)

*Main Card*
Eddie Alvarez Vs Conor McGregor (LW)
This is a tasty scrap! You may only be reading this Gambling Guide to see who we have for the main event, that's cool, welcome! Here's few things to take in to consideration for both fighters. McGregor is fighting at a lighter weight than when he fought Nate Diaz (both times). McGregor has a laser-like left hand and hunts his opponents down. Alveraz is as seasoned as they come and has fought some of the best in the business. He's a legit wrestler, has fantastic hands and is very tough. The deciding factor we see here is that Alveraz tends to fight on the outside which will likely play into the Irishman's hands and a knockout will ensue. It won't be a first round finish, we'll go with the second or third and NYC will be green once all is said and done.
Prediction: McGregor
Method: KO/TKO

Tyron Woodley Vs Stephen Thompson (WW)
A very interesting match-up right here! Many people accused Woodley of ducking Thompson when the champ discussed 'bigger money fights' but regardless, the two get to have it out and someone has to be the runner-up. Championship rounds will favour 'Wonder Boy' and if it goes past the third, expect to see him step it up and either finish Woodley or get the decision. Again, this is a bout we've been going back and forth with. How can you bet against someone who took out Robbie Lawler? Well, we are on this occasion.
Prediction:Thompson
Method: TKO/KO

Joanna Jedrzejczyk Vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz (SW)
A lot of people have been showering Kowalkiewicz with praise and rightly so, she's a tough cookie and fighters are undefeated for a reason. Her opponent is also undefeated but she happens to be the champ, and will be for some time. Jedrzejczyk recently sacked her long term manager and has been complaining about money/sponsorship. Could this effect her performance? Doubtful.
Prediction: Jedrzejczyk
Method: Points

Chris Weidman Vs Yoel Romero (MW)
Weidman will have a lot of fans in the Garden come November 12th but you better believe Yoel Romero will have a plan to spoil the party. The main thing to remember here is that Romero is huge for a middleweight, and this is only a 3 round fight, so Weidman really has his work cut out. This one is pretty hard to call but we expect Weidman to have sorted himself out following such a poor outing against Rockhold. Plus he's the only man to knockout Anderson Silva.
Prediction: Weidman
Method: Points

Kelvin Gastelum Vs Donald Cerrone (WW)
Tough one. Cerrone has been on an absolute tear but Gastelum has never been finished so what will actually happen? Can't see Gastelum being finished here but at the same time we can't see Cerrone not putting on a show for the New York fans. He might not get a chance to pull the trigger but 'Cowboy' will score on leg kicks and do enough to impress the judges.
Prediction: Cerrone
Method: Points

Meisha Tate Vs Raquel Pennington (BW)
Another tough one to call. Pennington has built up a good win streak and has looked like a different fighter this year. Tate held the belt for 5mins and lost it in her first defence so might be a little hesitant in this one but at the same time, has a point to prove against her doubters. Plus with Ronda Rousey now back in the mix she'll be on a mission for 2017 rematch for sure. This really could go either way. You have been warned!
Prediction: Tate
Method: Decision

*Premlim Card*
Frankie Edgar Vs Jeremy Stephens (FW)
Jeremy Stephens is no joke, but in front of all his friends and family its a given 'The Answer' will take it up a level and secure a clear points victory.
Prediction: Edgar
Method: Points

Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs Micheal Johnson (LW)
We made a lot of money on Johnson when he sparked out Dustin Poirer in his last outing but Nurmagomedov is a different kettle of fish and will plaster Johnson to the floor, and keep him there.
Prediction: Nurmagomedov
Method: Decision

Rashad Evans Vs Tim Kennedy (MW)
How crazy is it seeing Rashad Evans so far down a UFC card? Probably for the best as this bout will be a snooze fest. Kennedy will take it and then call out Bisping.
Prediction: Kennedy
Method: Points

Rafael Natal Vs Tim Boetsch (MW)
Just when you think Boetsch is ready to hang up the gloves, he always produces a solid win, to fight another day. Not saying he'll retire from the UFC after this one but it might be the beginning of another losing streak.
Prediction: Natal
Method: KO/TKO

Jim Miller Vs Thiago Alves (LW)
We went back and forth with this one as Miller has had a very active year whereas Alves has been out for so long and is clearly riddled with injuries...but something tells us lady luck is going to be on his side.
Prediction: Alves
Method: Points

Lyman Good Vs Belal Muhammad (WW)
It has been over a year since Lyman Good made his impressive UFC debut and he will be itching to make a statement here. Muhammad is coming off a big KO victory so these guys will hopefully throwdown but that means it'll be a case of who lands first.
Prediction: Good
Method: KO/TKO

Liz Carmouche Vs Katlyn Chookagain (BW)
Unless Carmouche produces something out of the ordinary here we can't see her causing her opponent to much trouble. A certified distance goer that will favour Chookagain.
Prediction: Chookagain
Method: Points
