The biggest MMA promotion on the planet returns to the 02 in London which means two things - loads of decent scraps and we get to watch them live!
Till vs. Jorge Masvidal (Welterweight)
Although not having not competed since November 2017, Masvidal has years of experience to produce the goods against not only the home favourite, but the home favourite who will be on a mission to wipe away the memories of his last performance. Till won't be dominated with superior grappling here, but he is facing someone we rarely bet against (based on the fact Masvidal is super durable and his fights often end up split decisions). If Till can stop Masvidal that's him automatically back in the title mix, but we are going to go out on a limb here and say this one ends in a controversial style. By this we mean a debatable close decision.
Leon Edwards vs. Gunnar Nelson (Welterweight)
Only a few years ago this bout could have headlined a domestic UK event, but alas, two of Europe's best welterweights collide on the big stage. Nelson on points or submission might be worth a shout but Edwards will land the more strikes in what will be a long drawn out bout
Volkan Oezdemir vs. Dominick Reyes (Light Heavyweight)
Potential fight of the night. Two heavy handed fighters but who will get tagged first? Time will tell. Oezdemir needs a win, so he might not be as wreckless as previous fights and look to keep his defence tight but regardless, Reyes should have his number.
Nathaniel Wood vs. José Alberto Quiñónez (Bantamweight)
Londoner Wood will have the whole stadium on his side and as a result should take his performance to another level here and be too much for opponent.
Danny Roberts vs. Cláudio Silva (Welterweight)
Tough one to call. Both fighters are on a roll and show no signs of being beat! Dare we say a draw?
Jack Marshman vs. John Phillips (Middleweight)
What a match up this is! The battle of the dragons sees the UFC to put two of the best fighters to ever come out of Wales against each other. Lots of factors involved here, the runner up will probably be sent packing, Philips is yet to get a win as a UFC athlete, and both are coming off back-to-back losses. If you see a takedown in this bout, you might also see a pig fly over the 02 arena. This one will be a proper tear up.
Preliminary Card (ESPN+)
Arnold Allen vs. Jordan Rinaldi (Featherweight)
Due to time away from the limelight and inactivity in the octagon, UK fighter Allen has become a bit of a forgotten man. He'll be looking to catch the eye of his employers with an impressive win against a decent opponent.
Nicolae Negumereanu vs. Saparbek Safarov (Light Heavyweight)
The Romanian star to shine on his UFC debut.
Joseph Duffy Vs Marc Diakiese
The hits just keep on coming on this card with yet another potential barn burner. Duffy is arguably the more well rounded fighter but if he gets caught up in a kick boxing match it could be lights out. Expect a takedown from the Irishman early doors.
Tom Breese vs. Ian Heinisch (Middleweight)
A very inconsistent UFC career has meant the quiet Birmingham native Breese still hasn't really tasted the limelight, experienced by his fellow countrymen. This isn't an easy fight for Breese, as Contender Series star Heinisch looks to be the real deal. Definitely swerve this one on your acca!
Danny Henry vs. Dan Ige (Featherweight)
If 'The Hatchet' can get the win here, we expect to see the UFC back in Scotland with him on the main card, against a big name. Definitely one to watch.
Molly McCann vs. Priscila Cachoeira (Flyweight)
Both fighters suffered terrible UFC debuts (granted Cachoera's was against a much tougher opponent and quite hard to watch) and will be looking to start a fresh in London. Unless the Scouser has improved significantly, we don't think she gets the win against the Brazilian 'Zombie Girl'.
Mike Grundy vs. Nad Narimani (Featherweight)
Wigan's Mike Grundy, team mate to Darren Till, gets the UFC call up against seasoned veteran Nad Narimani. Both fighters have a similar record, and style. Whoever lands the most leg kicks and racks up the points will get the nod.
