DANNY HART

Downhill Mountain Bike

Danny Hart from Redcar in the North East of England is one of the most ballsy downhill mountain bike competitors around, summed up perfectly by commentator Rob Warner as he watched his breath taking run that won the 2011 World Championship by saying "His balls are that big I don't know how he sits down".

In 2008, when just 16, he began competing the elite class internationally, with a best DH World Cup result of 22nd at Vallnord, Andorra in June. In 2009 he won the Maxxis Cup in Vigo, Spain, and came second in the junior national championship at Innerleithen, Scotland, third at the junior world championship in Canberra, Australia and 20th in the Elite class at the Fort William, Scotland round of the World Cup in June of that year. Danny is really starting to come of age this year, with more strength and conditioning focused training he has won the last three rounds of the World Cup coming second overall in the 2016 season.
